For Developers
The main home for LiveWhale Calendar developers tools is docs.livewhale.com. There, you can find in-depth and up-to-date information about calendar theming, setting up analytics , adding custom fields, working with our API, and more.
If you’re a developer new to LiveWhale Calendar, you might want to start with customizing the LWC back-end. Folks often use simple back-end CSS and JS to do things like hide fields that your school isn’t using, or add additional instruction text.
If you’re a designer type, you might want to learn about how calendar theming works in LiveWhale.
And for the real code-heads, we’ve got a robust API for pulling events data into other systems, interacting with your event data, or even writing modules that change or extend the behavior of LiveWhale itself.
In all of these cases, we are happy to train you so you get the most out of your experience building with LiveWhale, or, we often do contract projects big or small to build custom functionality you might be dreaming up. Drop us a line and let’s chat!
